Summary: Not a real quality product
Comment: Item was received a few days before Christmas and seemed to work OK when first checked. However the camera had very low resolution and the CRT monitor (Black&White) is very limited in contrast, brightness and sync stability. When really used the first time, the video output jack was connected to a TV and I immediately found that the monitor video slide switch was intermittent and caused the video output to the TV to fail. I plan to return the item for a replacement and I might even consider up grading to a better machine.

Comment: I bought this as a birthday present for my 7 year old daughter but it was an instant hit with all 4 of my kids. We've had it a couple of days and it's been used almost non-stop! I am Thrilled! It's got a lot of controls on the front, but the kids figured them out quickly, from the camera options to the voice controls, to simply switching it to use as a radio. It's very kid friendly without being a cheap toy. The specs do not say, but I was happy to find that the monitor can show the camera video AND the words at the same time, so the kids can see the words to sing AND themselves singing at the same time which they seem to like best. (The specs suggested it was one or the other.) I love that it's small enough to easily tote to a friends house, or out to the porch for a party, and completely self contained. If you want to hook it to a tv or external speakers you can, but it's not required. The monitor is black and white, but the camera is color so you can have a color picture if you hook it up to the tv. It's a good compromise to keep the cost down. It would be great if it came with 2 microphones, but having just one does keep the initial price lower. It also makes for very cute pictures as the kids squeeze together to share the one microphone! It does have the ports for 2 mikes, so we'll be buying a second one soon!

Comment: Bought for my 12 year old daughter's birthday and she loves it!! It is so easy to use and hook up to our home theater system. She had a birthday party with 16 girls and it was a huge hit. Love how it is so small and lightweight, easy to transport. Great machine. The camera isn't the best picture but kids think it is fun. Had so much fun that we had to buy an additional microphone so 2 can sing at the same time. Great machine for the value. Highly recommend it.

Comment: I received this karaoke machine recently to provide entertainment to my nephews and grandchild. The machine is quite user friendly. I love the features, especially the fact it can be connected to a television set. The children are enjoying it immensely and I thought the price was quite reasonable. My purchase was well worth it.

Summary: Tons of fun
Comment: This karaoke machine works, has all of the cool features, and is very simple to use. My 4 & 6 year old girls were using it with little to no help within a day. We can just plug it into our tv, move a switch on the karaoke machine, and watch them sing and dance on the tv. We also got an extra Singing Machine wireless microphone and that works great too. This karaoke machine met all of our expectations and didn't disappoint in any way. The girls are having a LOT of fun with it!
