Summary: Depending on the Size of Files, Can Fit only 180 in ROOT Directory
Comment: As my review says, it depends on how big the file sizes are, but I think it is important to note that if you are going to use this card for a Digital Picture Frame or Digital Camera, take note that an SD card can only fit so much in the root directory.
I want to use this for a Dynex digital picture frame I got for Christmas, and I just wanted to throw all my pictures in the root directory so that they were "shuffled" that way.
After much testing, the conclusions were between 150-300 files in the root directory, depending on the size of the files. I'm not sure if this is a security feature or what, but to me it is just plain annoying when I just want to throw all my pictures on there for my digital picture frame.
Solution 1: Format this card to be NTFS. The problem with that is that it will not work in most digital cameras (it is recommended that if you use this with a digital camera, that you format it INSIDE the digital camera itself), and it won't work in most digital picture frames, which includes mine, the Dynex DPF7A picture frame.
Solution 2: Create folders in the root directory of the SD card and store the pictures in separate folders. I have one folder for "Family Pics", one for "Friends Pics" and one for "Random Pics", etc. This is obviously the best way, because then you can have many, MANY pictures inside of one file and wah-lah, it works.
I prefer solution 2, and I will update in a few months after I have used this card daily (as in, Monday-Friday at my work for the digital picture frame), and will let you all know how it turns out!

Comment: This is a good price for these SD cards so I don't know why people are complaining about shipping cost.They have to make some type of profit.I bought 1 card & in all (including shipping) it came to $5.00.That's way cheaper than what you would get it for at Walmart,Best Buy,Target,Walgreens or any other store for that matter.If I were to buy 5 from this company it would be about $25 & that with shipping.At almost every other store they're like $15.00.So If I were to get 5 from Walmart it would be $75.I say it's a bargain to get them from here.They hold a lot of pics too.I have a Photosmart E327 & If take my pics in high quality mode the card holds about 1900 pics.

Comment: I have had this card for over two years now, and I have never had a problem with it. I use it in my digital camera. I have several other SanDisk products and those are great as well. Never lost any of my data and the price is great.
